Davao continues to flourish with a wealth of attractive investment and business opportunities with its numerous major infrastructure developments. For example, improvements on international airport, construction of a bypass road, and modernization of an existing port.

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Mindanao remains to be at the “front and center” of the government’s infrastructure program, said Department of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III in a virtual business conference in 2020. Last year, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade also mentioned that they were at the “forefront of building and developing transport infrastructure projects in Mindanao.”
